Tirpitz (1941)

Battleship Tirpitz, of the Bismarck class, was one of the most dreary and state of the art German warships of WW2. Launched in 1941, she was less famous of her twin Bismarck and was employed mostly in the North Sea. Squadrons of British bombers intercepted and sunk her in a Norwegian fjord  in the autumn of 1944.
